Carlos Ricardo Brathwaite
The first thing the name Carlos Brathwaite brings to memory for any cricket fan is his last over heroics in the 2016 World T20, when he scored four consecutive sixes against Ben Stokes to bring home the second Title for the Windies.
Recently in the 2019 World Cup, while chasing a mammoth 292 against New Zealand, Brathwaite crafted a comeback after the Windies lost five early wickets. He scored 101 off just 82 balls to take the Windies within five runs of their target, but he was out caught in the deep in the penultimate over.
In the CPL, Carlos Brathwaite has played four seasons for the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He was knockout out of the tournament last year in the qualifiers. With Chris Gayle’s absence from the team, Brathwaite will lead the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in CPL 2019.
