One of the most popular six hitters in modern cricket and an accurate pace bowler, Colin de Grandhomme played the 2019 World Cup Final against England. He bowled his full quota of overs, yet conceded only 25 runs only and he also picked the wicket of English Superstar Joe Root. In the league stages, the 33-year-old got two fifties in six innings, including a match-winning 60* off 47 balls against South Africa.
This would be de Grandomme’s second consecutive CPL, last season he turned out for Jamaica Tallawahs. In CPL 2019, de Grandomme was brought in as a replacement for Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga. He will be coming into the CPL on the back of four consecutive 40+ T20I scores, two of which came against Sri Lanka in a bilateral series in early September.
