James Neesham is an extremely popular cricket on and off the field. Apart from being one of the most followed cricketers on Twitter, he managed to find himself with the bat in the Super Over at the Cricket World Cup Final 2019. He hit an important six to take New Zealand to the cusp of victory before his partner Guptill was run out off the last ball.
Neesham became only the eighth player to score two hundreds in his first two Test matches, his debut century was against India in the same Test that McCullum smashed a triple hundred.
In the CPL, Neesham was first picked up the Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2014. This is his second CPL, joining fellow Kiwi Colin Munro at Trinbago Knight Riders.
