A seasoned veteran of franchise T20 cricket the world over, Samit Patel will bring his all-round talents to the CPL this year.
An adaptable batter who can play anywhere in the top 5 and a slow left-arm bowler, Patel has been a useful asset to many a team that he’s played for. The Englishman had a busy 2020 where he featured in the PSL, the Vitality Blast, the BBL and the inaugural Lanka Premier League.
In last year’s Vitality Blast, he didn’t have the best of times with the bat, but picked up 11 wickets in 11 games for Nottinghamshire. At the very first LPL, he scored 189 runs for the Dambulla Viiking along with picking 7 wickets.
He also had 188 runs and 12 wickets in last year’s PSL and was involved in PSL 2021 too before it’s suspension.
